MDA's Winter Scientific Session Coming in January

Take a Northern Michigan midwinter getaway full of family fun by attending the MDA's 2009 Winter Scientific Session, Jan. 16-18 at Schuss Mountain Resort. The three-day event is just the cure for the wintertime blahs. The upcoming session features the seminars “Implants, Soft Tissue and Fix Prothodontics,” by Dr. Douglas Henke.; “Composites: Better, Faster and Easier,” by Dr. James Hamilton; and "The New Science of Cardiovascular Diseases and Dietary Supplements," by Dr. Stephen TePastte. A total of 11 continuing education credits are available. The MDA has reserved rooms at the resort.

Don't Forget to Pay Your Dues

The Feb. 15, 2009 deadline for payment of membership dues will be here before you know it. Reviewing Delta Dental's Payment Policy Changes

Delta Denta's new Maximum Plan Allowance policy is generating a lot of concern and questions. The policy prohibits participating dentists from billing patients for any amount in excess of the Maximum PLan Allowance established by Delta Dental for certain procedures.
