Pre-Paid Membership Program

The Smartest Way to Invest in the MDA!

Many MDA members prefer to invest in membership via bimonthly contributions between July and December instead of making one, single payment. This popular, convenient and hassle-free option is available to those paying full MDA dues (recent grads, retired, limited practice and working life members are not eligible for this program).

The Pre-Paid Program is designed to give you the most time to pay and is a credit card-only option. Each investment consists of one-quarter of the total local, MDA, and ADA dues. These charges will be automatically applied to your credit card on July 1, 2012, Sept. 1, 2012, Oct. 1, 2012, and Dec. 28, 2012. (The final billing date in December allows members to have all four payments processed in 2012 for tax purposes.)

You will receive one statement at the beginning of the program that reflects mandatory items. At that time you will also be asked which optional items you wish to contribute to, if any.  Your first three investments will be one-quarter of the mandatory line items, along with one-quarter of any optional items you have selected. The fourth will be one-quarter of the mandatory line items and optional items, along with any ADA dues increase. The ADA House of Delegates will determine the amount of the increase, if any, at its meeting this October.

If you would like to participate in the Pre-Paid Program, email your name and address (please specify home or office) to the MDA’s Jody Marquardt. If you participated in this program in 2011, you will automatically be reenrolled for participation in 2012.

Those not participating in the Pre-Paid Program will receive their membership statement in late fall, with payment due by Feb. 15, 2013. If you have any questions or wish to enroll by phone, call Jody at 800-589-2632, ext. 408.
