The Michigan Dental Association Foundation is proud to support the American Dental Association traveling exhibit “Your Spitting Image” through a special grant. The exhibit can be seen at Lansing’s Impression Five Science Center and takes visitors on an interactive odyssey through the mouth to learn the science behind saliva.
 Visitors can step into the role of a disaster recovery team member and learn how to identify victims of a mass disaster. Discover how to identify gender and ethnicity from skull structure, create dental charts and analyze radiographs to make identifications.
This traveling exhibit is part of a yearlong celebration of the ADA’s and dentistry’s 150th anniversary. The exhibit is on loan from The Dr. Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, located in Baltimore, Md.
