The Michigan Dental Association Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2009 Access to Care/ Oral Health Initiatives Grants. This year’s recipients are:
Each received a $5,000 award to be used by the facility to provide access-to-care and oral health education to the underserved.
“All three organizations are serving Michigan residents, providing access to oral health care. We commend their spirit and were happy to provide grants for them to continue their missions serving the undeserved,” said Dr. Joan McGowan, chair of the Foundation’s Grant Administration Committee.
The Michigan Dental Foundation has given 12 grants in the last five years for a total of $60,000, McGowan said.
