The Michigan Dental Association Foundation is pleased to announce grant applications are now available. Grants are available for both oral health education projects and access to care projects located in the state of Michigan. The deadline for submitting grant requests is June 1.
Proposals must be submitted either by accredited educational institutions or by non profit organizations with a 501(c) 3 status. Applicants must be located within the state of Michigan, as must the proposed activity. The applicant must provide a formal request detailing their needs and program goals as well as report on their results midway through the project and at the completion of the project. The Michigan Dental Association Foundation provided more than 400 children’s oral hygiene kits during the second annual Boo Bash, held Oct. 29 at Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor.
The Michigan Dental Association Foundation is pleased to again announce its collaboration with The Old Newsboys Goodfellows of Detroit this holiday season to provide holiday packages to Detroit area children in need.
The Michigan Dental Association Foundation has a great way to celebrate the holidays with a Merry Santa Dentist or a Jolly Tooth ornament, each complete with brush and toothpaste tube. Each ornament is available for a $25 tax-deductible donation to the Michigan Dental Association Foundation and they make great gifts for the entire staff, family or as decorations around the office.
