The Ninth Annual Michigan Dental Foundation golf outing was held May 14 at Walnut Hills Country Club in East Lansing. Eighty golfers supported the Foundation by participating in the event and were rewarded with a day of fantastic golf, friendship, food and fun.
The first place honors at this year's golf outing went to the foursome of Scott Doman, Dan Doman, Gary Krupa and John Dardzinski. The second-place foursome was made up of Dale Nester, Steve Sharrard, Shawn Zimmer and Mike Kruscke.
In the contests, the "Longest Drive" winners were Doug Klein and Dave Beeman, with the "Closest to the Pin" winners being Jeremy Thietten and Jim Goulding
The funds raised will support the Foundation's efforts in providing scholarships to students in dental health related careers, oral health education programs and access to care programs for the underserved.
