About the Michigan Dental Foundation

The Michigan Dental Association Board of Trustees established the Michigan Dental Foundation in 1998 to serve as the MDA's philanthropic arm. The Foundation is also supported by the Michigan Dental Assistants Association and the Michigan Dental Hygienist's Association.

This is only the beginning of what can be a tremendous asset for dentistry in Michigan. Stop for a moment and think of the possibilities. The future is limited only by imagination - and by the financial support the Foundation receives.

The Autumn 2011 issue of Highlights, the quarterly newsletter of the Michigan Dental Association Foundation, is now available online.

Foundation Provides Oral Health Kits for Boo Bash

The Michigan Dental Association Foundation provided more than 400 children’s oral hygiene kits during the second annual Boo Bash, held Oct. 29 at Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor.

Foundation Assists Goodfellows of Detroit

The Michigan Dental Association Foundation is pleased to again announce its collaboration with The Old Newsboys Goodfellows of Detroit this holiday season to provide holiday packages to Detroit area children in need.

Festive Holiday Ornaments are Back!

The Michigan Dental Association Foundation has a great way to celebrate the holidays with a Merry Santa Dentist or a Jolly Tooth ornament, each complete with brush and toothpaste tube. Each ornament is available for a $25 tax-deductible donation to the Michigan Dental Association Foundation and they make great gifts for the entire staff, family or as decorations around the office.
