The 2009 Michigan Dental Association Coloring Contest proved again to be a popular activity among children around the state, as more than 2,800 entries were submitted for this year's contest. The contest takes place each February in conjunction with National Children’s Dental Health Month. Have a look at all the budding artists in this year’s crop of winning entries.
Michigan dentists participate in a variety of state and community programs that offer low-cost or free dental services to individuals in need. These programs offer help to seniors, low-income individuals, patients on Medicaid, disabled, handicapped or institutionalized individuals, children, and others.
