Festive Holiday Ornaments are Back!

The Michigan Dental Association Foundation has a great way to celebrate the holidays with a Merry Santa Dentist or a Jolly Tooth ornament, each complete with brush and toothpaste tube.

The handcrafted glass-blown ornaments are made in Poland and sparkle in the light. The Santa Dentist wears a white lab coat, red scrubs, gold-glittered boots and holds an oversized toothbrush. The Jolly Tooth has two big blue eyes and holds a red toothbrush in one hand, with a red, white and blue patriotic toothpaste tube in the other hand.

Each ornament is available for a $25 tax-deductible donation to the Michigan Dental Association Foundation and they make great gifts for the entire staff, family or as decorations around the office. Both ornaments will be for sale at the Detroit Dental Review, to be held Nov. 4 at the Burton Manor in Livonia; the Macomb District Dental Society seminar, to be held Nov. 4 at Royal Park Hotel in Rochester; and at the MDA headquarters in Okemos. There are a limited number of ornaments available, so get there early to pick yours up, just in time for the holidays! Cash, credit card or checks are accepted.

For more information please contact Lori Kleinfelt 800-589-2632. The funds will be used for Dental Scholarships, Access to Care Grants and Oral Health Initiatives all in the state of Michigan.
