The Michigan Dental Association Foundation congratulates Dr. Sharon Brooks, of Ann Arbor, the grand prize winner in the 2010 Foundation Car Raffle.
 Brooks chose the $18,000 cash prize over the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro or the 2010 Harlet-Davidson Softail Deluxe motocycle. The second prize of $1,000 went to Abbey Cullen, of Farmington Hills, while the third prize of $500 went to Dr. Ron Paler, of Brighton.
All 400 tickets sold out rapidly and the suspense grew until the drawing, held during the MDA President's Event on Friday, April 16 at the Sheraton Hotel.
Everyone is a winner, and special thanks to everyone who purchased tickets. The money raised will be used for scholarships, access-to-care grants, and oral health initiatives across the state of Michigan. The raised money will be used for many worthwhile causes including programs to provide dental care for the underserved. Congratulations to all who participated in a great event.
