Grab your crayons, pencils and markers and start coloring!
The Michigan Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Foundation are sponsoring the 17th Annual National Children's Dental Health Month Coloring Contest. Children in grades kindergarten through sixth are eligible for the contest.
First and second place prizes will be awarded in each grade. First place winners will receive a $100 U.S. Savings Bond and a prize bag. Second place winners will receive a $50 U.S. Savings Bond and a prize bag. All entrants will receive a personalized postcard from the Michigan Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association Foundation thanking them for participating. Entries must be postmarked by March 5, 2010.
There is no purchase necessary, nor any cost to participate. Children are encouraged to be creative by using crayons, pencils, markers, beads, or even paint to color the special coloring sheet. Winners will be notified by April 1, 2010. The winning entries will be posted online during the month of April, so be sure to check back then!

The MDA's coloring contest will also be distributed through dental offices in February, so be sure to ask your dentist about their activities!
